Palm Desert is about to get a whole log greener

About The Partnership

The City of Palm Desert has taken the lead in energy efficiency and conservation with a pioneering new initiative called Set to Save. Conceived as a groundbreaking model for other California cities to follow, this initiative puts Palm Desert at the forefront of environmental responsibility.

Working side-by-side Southern California Edison, Southern California Gas Company, and the Energy Coalition, Palm Desert has formed a unique partnership to implement this innovative program. To help you become more energy-efficient, we're pooling our resources together to offer rebates and cash incentives created exclusively for Palm Desert residents and businesses. The partnership has also formed an extensive plan for education and community outreach.

By helping residents and businesses save energy, we will also help them save money, while turning the desert green (demonstrating the city's commitment to the environment).

We Need Your Help

Set to Save has an ambitious goal: To reduce the city's energy consumption by 30% by 2011. But we can't do it alone. Your participation is the key to this program's success, whether you're a homeowner or renter, student or senior citizen, small business owner or city employee. Working together, we can make Palm Desert truly green.
