Save up to $1,000 for zoning your home
Receive up to $1,000 rebate and reduce your cooling costs when you zone your air conditioning system. You can save big, because zoning can greatly increase the efficiency of your central air conditioning system. Zoning consists of installing a series of dampers and controls to automatically prevent airflow to unoccupied areas of your home during certain hours of the day. Each zone has its own temperature control and mechanisms to prevent or direct airflow into it.
How to Apply
- Print a copy of the rebate application
- Purchase and install a qualifying product
- Complete the application and mail it along with a copy of the receipt or proof of purchase to:

- Keep a copy for your records. Rebate checks are usually mailed within five weeks.
Terms and Conditions
- This rebate offer is only available to residents of Palm Desert, through the Palm Desert Partnership.
- Your home must be at least 1,400 sq. ft. or two-story to qualify for 2 zones, 2,000 sq. ft. for 3 zones, 3,000 sq. ft. for 4 or more zones.

Program is available until December 31, 2008 or while funding lasts. This program is funded by California utility customers and administered by SCE under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission. Program is subject to change without notice.
