Save $100 on a Duct Test
Find out if you're wasting energy and money each month, through a leaky duct system. Ducts that move air to-and-from a forced air furnace, central air conditioner, or heat pump are often big energy wasters. A duct test will alert you to any leaks in your air conditioning and heating system.
How to Apply
- Print a copy of the rebate application
- Purchase and install a qualifying product
- Complete the application and mail it along with a copy of the receipt or proof of purchase to:

- Keep a copy for your records. Rebate checks are usually mailed within five weeks.
Terms and Conditions
- This rebate offer is only available to residents of Palm Desert, through the Palm Desert Partnership.
- Should your duct test reveal that sealing is not required, you may apply for this rebate. If more than 20% (airflow CFM) total duct leakage exists, you must seal them (take advantage of the Duct Seal rebate). If the tests indicate a leakage rate less than 20%, you may still take advantage of the Duct Seal element of the program.
- You may apply for this rebate in conjunction with or independent of central air conditioning equipment replacement.
Legal Stuff
Program is available until December 31, 2008 or while funding lasts. This program is funded by California utility customers and administered by SCE under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission. Program is subject to change without notice.
