Receive a $20 per linear foot rebate
Shade covers and awnings prevent sunlight from entering your conditioned living space through your windows. Install shade covers or awnings over your windows to dramatically reduce the amount of heat coming into your home and save energy and money.
How to Apply
- Print a copy of the rebate application
- Purchase and install a qualifying product
- Complete the application and mail it along with a copy of the receipt or proof of purchase to:

- Keep a copy for your records. Rebate checks are usually mailed within five weeks.
Terms and Conditions
- This rebate offer is only available to residents of Palm Desert, through the Palm Desert Partnership.
- North-facing windows are not eligible for this rebate.
- Shade covers and awnings must have a solid opaque roof deck.
- Trellis style shade covers do not qualify.
- Your invoice must specify the length of each window.

Program is available until December 31, 2008 or while funding lasts. This program is funded by California utility customers and administered by SCE under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission. Program is subject to change without notice.
